i began working on this piece at the start of this year.
no matter what i did to it, it turned out horrible. after the first month, i hated it with all of my little black heart.
but, ive been looking at it every day since i stopped working on it (a month, perhaps). just to remind myself
how much work there was in it, and how much i couldnt stand the way it looked.
so, the other day, i had an epiphany.
"GREEN!"
and, well, the result you can see above.

acrylics, oil pastels, spraypaint, glue, tape, pens, some knifework, photo, and good old dash of emotion.
I think this has balanced tension. My favorite part is the dark blue one, but all parts are interesting and "appealing" to me. The overpainted tape really adds to the physical element.
I love it! It looks rather 3D. It is raised at all?
I would love to use your art and only your art for every wall in my house, all set up in rows. It's minimalistic enough that I could do that without it looking too overdone. Sadly I am broke I bet that your place is gorgeous!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
